Personal Experience
Martin Williams was born and raised in Birmingham, England. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Birmingham in 2003. He completed the Legal Practice Course and was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2006. While at university, he served as Editor of the law school newsletter. In 2018, he was elected a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) in recognition of his outstanding trial advocacy and contribution to the profession.
In 2023, Martin was named Personal Injury Solicitor of the Year at the Birmingham Law Society Awards. In 2019, he was shortlisted for the Law Society’s National Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year. Martin practices exclusively in personal injury law, with a particular focus on catastrophic injury claims, wrongful death, clinical negligence, and employment-related claims including wrongful and unfair dismissal.
